In this teacher-directed, student-centered creative movement class for toddlers and caregivers, learners will dance and sing with playful instruction by Teacher Kayliani and Teacher Madeline. The class will explore basic dance concepts with playful locomotion, building caregiver-child connection with songs, nursery rhymes, stories and interactive games. Help your child expand their developing movement possibilities as we dance together.

    Mar/Apr Theme: Creative Cooks

    Let’s use our imagination to dance our way through sweets, soups, and all sorts of recipes! This session will get creative with the kitchen, using food as an inspiration for movement. Over 8 weeks of creative play and dance, you and your dancer will learn recipes, sing songs, and bond in a space designed to encourage motor and social development for young artists.

Story Explorers is an active and interactive storytelling class for infants, toddlers and their caregivers with Teacher Kayla and Teacher Emily. In each class, learners will explore the worlds of different children’s books, supporting social and motor development while deepening engagement with classic tales. Dive into stories that will light up your child’s imagination, and discover the magic of reading through dramatic play, song, and dance.

    Mar/Apr Theme: Mother Goose

    Explore the world of your favorite nursery rhymes! In this session, Story Explorers will dive into the repertoire of Mother Goose, reimagining classic rhymes with creative style. Stories like “Baa Baa Black Sheep” and “Little Miss Tuffet” will be “remixed” with song, movement, and dramatic play. Join us as we get creative with the classics!

Explore the foundations of music education in this child-centered, play-based music class for young children and their caregivers. Guided by Teacher Maria, learners will engage with the foundations of music with activities designed to support child development. Musical concepts are introduced through songs, rhymes, games, dance, props, and more! Each week of the class will build upon the one before, resulting in a cumulative, comprehensive music experience for your child.

    Mar/Apr Theme: All That Jazz!

    Come ready to play, sing and swing with your young musician as we discover the vibrant world of jazz! In “All That Jazz”, the voices of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald will lead us on a playful musical journey through jazz history. Incorporating subgenres like swing, bebop, and the blues, learners will engage with new sounds, instruments, and playing techniques. This class will explore basic foundations like steady beat as well as new techniques like improvisation and syncopation. Get jazzy with us this spring!
