Jessica harron

Jessica Harron (she/her) has over 20 years serving in public education as an art teacher and as a school administrator. She has served as an Assistant Principal of Culture and Instruction and Principal in both the charter and district setting, most recently serving in the Pennsbury School District with a student population of 3,000 students and approximately 250 teachers. Jessica has an undergraduate degree in Art Education and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership, where she has had a focus on school culture, instructional delivery, and community connections. During her time in the public school setting, she has received a Teacher of the Year award and a Leadership in Education award for her work in connecting students to who they are as individuals within the community they live in.

Jess is heavily influenced by the arts and believes creative expression allows for a space to validate the social and emotional needs of all. In her Director of Operations role, Jess is eager to use her background in art education and leadership to further provide support and opportunities to families spanning across the city and the neighborhood she calls home.

When she is not focused on educational programming, she can be found with her two boys wandering the woods and beach, working out, planning the next trip, or perfecting her culinary skills.
