Shannon Dougherty

Shannon Dougherty (she/her) is an artist and graduate of Tyler School of Art with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Printmaking. Shannon grew up in Pennsylvania and has lived in Philadelphia for 7 years. Shannon worked as a Visitor Service Attendant at Smith Memorial Playground before joining the PlayArts team as a Playspace Associate. Shannon became a full time administrator for PlayArts in September 2021. She values art and play as a strong source of self confidence and self empowerment. In her free time you can find Shannon making art, journaling, or listening to audio books while cooking.
